As he worked his way through college, he volunteered at the UWM Legal Clinic, and founded a non-profit organization focused on providing food and clothing to those in need.

He eventually graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with academic honors in Psychology and History. He then continued his education at Marquette University School of Law, earning his doctrine in Jurisprudence in 2015.
