At Buss Law we believe in not only supporting our clients, but also the community around us. Getting involved with organizations that make a difference, and helping others in the community is important to us at Buss Law, LLC. This is why we have chosen to support six organizations that we believe are making great strides, and a difference for many lives in our community. Milwaukee Rescue Mission, Street Angels, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin , MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and the CJ Lomas Recovery Foundation.
Street Angels Outreach beats the street to help those who need it most. With community support the Street Angels are able to go out three nights a week and bring basic necessities such as food, clothing, blankets, and hygiene items to many of the homeless population in Milwaukee. The team goes where ever they are needed in the city and also give hope, compassion, and friendship to many that otherwise might have no one.
The Milwaukee Rescue Mission (MRM) serves men, women and children in Milwaukee who struggle with homelessness and poverty. Our mission statement says: “Sharing God’s love by caring for those who are poor in body, mind and spirit, to see lives transformed through Christ to hope, joy and lasting productivity.” MRM meets basic needs (meals, shelter and clothing), and offers transformative programs that give neighbors in need a chance at a fresh start.

Since that moment and in CJ’s honor, we have made a commitment to help others struggling with their addiction. We founded the CJ Lomas Recovery Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, in an effort to provide financial support to those seeking recovery, but are lacking the necessary funds.
The mission of the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin is to provide support to Wisconsin families and individuals with Down syndrome through awareness, education, information, programs, services, and the exchange of ideas and experiences.DSAW’s vision is that we all understand the value of those with Down syndrome in our lives and our communities.
